Flowing water. Bright green colors. Monkeys howling. Cicadas buzzing. These are some of the many sights and sounds that are present in La Selva. Upon arriving, we have committed to be as aware and open to new things and opportunities. This venture into the jungle has proven to be an amazing and eye opening journey so far. We have seen many animals and insects, some of which are scary but not life threatening as long as you don't disturb them. Some of the most beautiful creatures in the world are dangerous and are not to be touched, as if God wanted them to only be observed and never handled. This trip to Costa Rica has been a blessing and I am truly thankful that I have the chance to be here. It's only day 2 but it feels like I've spent a lifetime here. Goodbye for now!
